One-dering

One move.

Just.One.Move.

And a million possibilities await the two of us.

One step.

Just.One.Step.

And we’re closer to something that neither of us has ever imagined.

One word.

Just.One.Word.

And it’ll surely bring an end to what we both know is unspoken.

In every season

Being in love with the idea of falling in love is illusory. Instead of setting yourself up for heartaches thinking another person can fill you up, be the right person in every season. So that when the time comes for God to honor your patience, you’ll be found ready. Don’t let your emotions get the best of you and cause you to settle for less. You are complete. You are valued. Remember that things happen to people at different times for a purpose. And know that in every season, Someone loves you and pursues you relentlessly.

And like I can’t force the sun to rise or hasten summer’s start,

neither should I rush my way into your heart

Love taught me to love back.

First, you loved.

Then, you gave

and loved again

with an endless love

 I couldn’t quite comprehend.

What is there left for me to do?

But to give all that I am back to you.

Hiatus-ing

Dear Blog,

You are alive! You’re not dead. Apparently, your promise to have at-least-one-post-every-month goal failed. Classic! But, hey! That is totally fine. I know you’re still there – trying to keep your chaotic self alive and breathing; waiting for the resurrection of your creative juices that often seem to be hibernating. I have so much faith in you, y’know? You’ll be amazed to know your endless possibilities. Just don’t let anything get in the way of our love. I will be here sitting patiently when you come around.

With hopes and dreams and lots of love,

Hello there, stranger!

“What” and “If” are two words as non-threatening as words can be. But put them together side-by-side and they have the power to haunt you for the rest of your life: What if? What if? What if?

-Lise Friedman, Letters to Juliet

What if I’d loved you then,

and I just realized that now?

What if your heart was true

as mine had always been in those times?

It doesn’t matter anyhow, does it?

It’s a little too late.

Child at ♥

“It’s funny because when you’re a child, you believe you can be anything you want to be, go wherever you want to go. There’s no limit to what you can dream. You expect the unexpected, you believe in magic, in fairy tales, and in possibilities. Then you grow older and that innocence is shattered and somewhere along the way the reality of life gets in the way and you’re hit by the realization that you can’t be all you wanted to be, you just might have to settle for a little bit less.

Or perhaps a variation of what you once wanted.

Why do we stop believing in ourselves? Why do we let facts and figures and anything but dreams rule our lives?”
― Cecilia Ahern, Love, Rosie

“Our life is made up of time; our days are measured in hours, our pay measured by those hours, our knowledge is measured by years. We grab a few quick minutes in our busy day to have a coffee break. We rush back to our desks, we watch the clock, we live by appointments. And yet your time eventually runs out and you wonder in your heart of hearts if those seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years and decades were being spent the best way they possibly could. In other words, if you could change anything, would you?”
― Cecilia Ahern, Love, Rosie
